Tests & Measurements –
What we check and why

At The Health Mapping Clinic, we focus on clarity over complexity. Instead of overwhelming you with data, we prioritise the markers that genuinely matter — those that affect how you feel today, and determine your risk of the most serious conditions tomorrow.

We use a focused set of world-class diagnostics to map your current state and create a highly personalised health strategy. Everything we test is selected for clinical relevance and long-term impact.

  • We take an in-depth look at your DNA to understand the cards you’ve been dealt and how to play them well.

    Our testing focuses on:

    • Disease risk – including cardiovascular conditions, Alzheimer’s, cancer and metabolic disorders.

    • Methylation – how efficiently your body activates key nutrients, detoxifies, and repairs itself.

    • Nutrition, sleep and exercise response – your genetic blueprint can help us fine-tune your lifestyle for maximum impact.

    • Supplementation guidance – identifying the nutrients your body truly needs, based on how it processes and uses them.Description text goes here

  • We measure the markers that most accurately reflect your health and trajectory:

    • Lipid Profile

      • ApoB – the single most predictive marker for heart disease and stroke

      • Cholesterol and triglycerides – refined indicators of how your body manages fats

    • Genetic Risk Markers

      • Lp(a) – a hereditary driver of heart disease, unaffected by diet or exercise

      • ApoE genotype – linked to both lipid metabolism and brain ageing

    • Inflammation Panel

      • Including hsCRP, homocysteine, uric acid — chronic inflammation is a silent contributor to nearly every chronic disease

    • Metabolic Panel

      • Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) – the most sensitive test for early insulin resistance

    • Hormonal Health

      • Including oestrogen, testosterone, PSA and other key hormones that influence energy, performance, and ageing

    • Organ & Nutrient Health

      • Liver, kidney, thyroid function

      • Iron levels, Omega-3 index, vitamin D — all crucial for immunity, cognition, and vitality

    • DEXA Scan – the gold standard for body composition, giving us precise data on fat distribution (especially visceral fat), muscle mass, and bone density

    • VO₂ Max Testing – a powerful predictor of longevity and resilience, measuring your cardiovascular capacity under stress

  • Some of the most valuable insights come from areas that are often overlooked or done poorly.

    • Family History – Most clinics ask a few questions. We build a detailed, structured health lineage to assess inherited risk and use it to inform every decision we make.

    • Blood Pressure – Rather than a single reading, we collect a two-week average for a more accurate, real-world picture. This allows us to spot early trends that may affect your heart, brain, or kidneys long before symptoms arise.

Intensive focus areas

Following a discussion with your doctor, and depending on the membership you choose, below are some of the areas you may focus on during the intensive phase of your journey. Each person's plan will vary based on what’s essential for them.

  • The foundation of how you feel

At the Health Mapping Clinic, we don’t just tell you what to eat, we teach you how to take control of your metabolism for life. By combining deep personal data with practical coaching, we help you build habits around food and energy that last far beyond a short-term plan.

This is where daily decisions become long-term health.

    Why It Matters

Nutrition is one of the most powerful tools to change how you feel — today and in the future. Done right, it can improve energy, sleep, focus, body composition, and even your emotional resilience. It also plays a key role in reducing your long-term risk of heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and cognitive decline.

Yet most people are working off guesswork. They follow generic advice, fad diets, or plans that don’t reflect their biology.

We do it differently. We start with clarity.

Using detailed testing — from glucose and insulin handling to lipid profiles, visceral fat, and genetic insights — we build a picture of your metabolic health that’s unique to you.

This becomes the foundation for a precision nutrition strategy: one designed around your goals, your lifestyle, and how your body actually works.

Then we teach you how to apply it. Not just for six weeks, but for life.

Because when you understand how to eat for your body, everything else gets easier: your energy, your weight, your performance, and your long-term health.

    What We Do

Once we’ve established your baseline in Phase One (including blood sugar control, insulin sensitivity, blood profile, and visceral fat) we move from insight to action.

This phase is about helping you build lifelong skills around food, metabolism, and energy, grounded in evidence and supported by daily practice.

We focus on three key areas:

    1. A Precision Nutrition Strategy

Your nutrition plan is designed to work with your physiology, not against it.

We create a strategy that supports your goals, whether that's weight loss, metabolic health, hormonal balance, or sustained energy. This is not a one-size-fits-all diet. It’s a flexible approach tailored to your biomarkers, body composition, lifestyle and preferences.

    We focus on:

    • Balancing blood sugar and improving insulin sensitivity

    • Reducing visceral fat and improving lean mass

    • Supporting hormone balance, gut health, and inflammation

    • Structuring meals and routines that fit your real life — including work, travel, and social occasions

    2. Habit Coaching & Daily Practice

Lasting change comes from consistency. That’s where your coach comes in.

Your health coach will help translate your nutrition plan into practical, sustainable daily routines. At first, they’ll check in frequently to ensure you’re implementing the right changes. Over time, as these habits become second nature, support will taper so you build confidence and long-term independence.

    Together, you'll cover:

    • When and how to eat to stay energised throughout the day

    • Navigating stress, hunger, or social situations without losing momentum

    • Automating the essentials to avoid decision fatigue

    3. Ongoing Refinement Through Re-testing

    We don’t guess. We track.

At key points throughout your journey, we repeat critical investigations — including:

    • Fasting insulin and glucose

    • OGTT (Oral Glucose Tolerance Test)

    • Lipid profile (ApoB, triglycerides)

    • Visceral fat and lean mass via DEXA scan

This data shows us whether your plan is working and where we need to adjust. From there, we fine-tune your nutrition and metabolic strategy to ensure continuous progress.

Every decision is guided by data, reviewed regularly, and adjusted based on results.

    What We’re Aiming For

By the time you leave the Navigation phase, you’ll have mastered a way of eating that works for your body, fits your life, and supports your future.

You’ll no longer need to second-guess what to eat or chase the latest nutrition trend. Instead, you’ll have a deeper understanding of how food affects your biology, and the daily practices to keep your metabolism working for you, not against you.

    This isn’t a diet. It’s nutritional mastery… for life.

  • Sleep is the foundation that underpins everything else. Without quality sleep, your hormones, metabolism, immune system, mood, and memory all suffer. Recovery is where the adaptation happens. It’s when your body repairs, your brain consolidates, and your health improves.

That’s why, at The Health Mapping Clinic, we treat sleep as a vital sign and optimise it like any other critical health metric.

    Why Sleep Matters

Inadequate or disrupted sleep is associated with:

    • Increased risk of Alzheimer’s, heart disease, stroke, obesity, and diabetes

    • Poor emotional resilience and mood instability

    • Impaired immune function and slower recovery

    • Hormone function (cortisol, insulin, growth hormone)

    • Reduced focus, memory, and decision-making

Poor sleep is often the first domino, leading to unhealthy food choices, missed workouts, and decisions you later regret. That’s why improving sleep is one of the fastest ways to upgrade your health, performance, and overall wellbeing.

    How We Optimise Your Sleep

We don’t just ask how many hours you sleep. We assess how restorative your sleep is and work backwards to engineer ideal conditions for deep, consistent, high-quality rest.

    1. Sleep Tracking & Data Integration

Using devices like Oura Ring, WHOOP, or sleep apps, we gather:

    • Sleep duration and efficiency

    • REM and deep sleep breakdown

    • Resting heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV)

    • Sleep latency and disturbances

This gives us a clear baseline to improve from.

    2. Sleep Environment & Hygiene Review

    We’ll evaluate:

    • Bedroom temperature, noise, and light exposure

    • Use of screens and stimulants

    • Consistency of bedtime routines

    • Alignment of your circadian rhythm

Simple, high-leverage changes here often have powerful effects.

    3. Supplement & Protocol Support

We identify your natural sleep rhythm (known as your chronotype) to help align your sleep schedule with your biology. Some people are naturally early risers, others perform better later in the day. We use your data to understand what works best for you.

Once we’ve mapped your ideal rhythm, we may recommend targeted support to help reset your internal clock or improve the quality of your sleep. This could involve gentle supplementation, light exposure strategies, or (where clearly indicated) short-term therapeutic aids.

Every recommendation is based on evidence and tailored to you. Our goal is always the same: to help your body rediscover the ability to sleep deeply, wake refreshed, and maintain high energy without needing to rely on sleep aids long term.

    4. Stress & Hormonal Evaluation

Sleep issues often reflect deeper imbalances, like elevated stress hormones or disrupted sleep-wake rhythms. Where appropriate, we’ll test cortisol levels and support with targeted interventions to realign your system.

    What We’re Aiming For

Our goal is to turn your sleep into a reliable engine for physical repair, mental clarity, and emotional stability. When sleep works, everything works better.

  • Move better. Build strength. Future-proof your body.

    Why It Matters

Movement is medicine. How you move today shapes how you’ll feel tomorrow.

Physical strength, mobility, and cardiovascular fitness aren’t just about appearance, they’re essential for staying independent, energetic, and injury-free as you age. Declining muscle mass, poor balance, and low aerobic fitness are some of the strongest predictors of poor health outcomes in later life. Yet they’re entirely preventable.

Whether you're 35 or 85, it’s never too late to start. And if you already train regularly, it's never too early to start planning for longevity.

We’re not just helping you train for now, we’re helping you build the strength, endurance, and resilience you’ll need in your 50s, 60s, and beyond.

    What We Do

This isn’t a generic fitness plan. It’s a personalised movement strategy built around your goals, your body, and your lifestyle.

We begin with a thorough baseline assessment using:

    • DEXA scan — to measure muscle mass, visceral fat, and bone density

    • VO₂ Max — to assess cardiovascular fitness

    • Movement screening — a full-body evaluation with our physiotherapist

    • Strength, stability, and mobility testing

From here, we tailor a plan to help you move better, feel stronger, and train with purpose.

    We support all levels:

    • If you’re just starting out — we’ll guide you step-by-step, help you build confidence, and make progress safely.

    • If you’re looking to reach your peak — we’ll help you push performance further, refine your strategy, and ensure your training supports both short-term goals and long-term health.

    Your plan may include:

    • Structured resistance training to build and preserve lean mass

    • Cardiovascular training to improve stamina and longevity

    • Mobility and stability work to support joint health and injury prevention

    • Exercise scheduling and lifestyle integration to make it fit around real life

We coordinate with personal trainers if you already have one — or help you get started with remote support, tracking, and regular reviews through our app.

    What We’re Aiming For

A body that’s strong, capable, and ready for whatever life throws at it, today and for decades ahead.

Whether your focus is prevention, performance, or both, we help you train with clarity and direction. No guesswork. Just smart, structured movement that delivers lasting results.

Because real strength isn’t about lifting more in the gym. It’s about feeling physically ready for everything that matters in life.

  • At The Health Mapping Clinic, we take a precision approach to pharmacology and supplementation. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all protocols, nor do we rely on generic multivitamins or off-the-shelf regimes. Every recommendation is based on your personal data, your physiology, and your health goals.

Our aim is not to over-medicalise, but to intervene where necessary with evidence-based tools, supporting health today and reducing risk tomorrow.

    Why This Matters

Medications and supplements are powerful levers. In the right context, they can:

    • Reduce your risk of heart attack, stroke, or cancer

    • Address critical deficiencies that impair your energy or brain function

    • Optimise your hormone levels and metabolism

    • Support performance, cognition, and resilience under stress

    • Correct imbalances before they manifest as disease

But used incorrectly, they can do harm, or waste time and money. That’s why our approach is precise, measured, and highly personalised.

    What We Do

Your supplementation and medication plan is built around one thing: your data. Every recommendation is guided by your biomarkers, health history, current routine, and personal goals.

We begin by reviewing any supplements or medications you’re already taking. Many people come to us with an overflowing supplement drawer—often duplicative, unnecessary, or poorly targeted. We help you strip that back, focus on what’s actually working, and remove what isn’t.

Then, based on your blood work, body composition, genetics and health goals, we build a targeted protocol to support both prevention and performance.

From there, we build a supplement strategy that supports both disease prevention and performance.

Our biomarker-guided supplementation typically aims to:

    • Correct underlying nutritional deficiencies

    • Reduce long-term disease risk (e.g. cardiovascular, metabolic, cognitive)

    • Support immune function, brain health, hormonal balance, and energy metabolism

    • Enhance recovery, resilience, and overall wellbeing

Each plan is formulated to fill gaps and support your longevity goals — not just to “cover bases.”

We offer bespoke compound supplements. That means everything you need into a single, high-quality daily pill, manufactured under third-party tested pharmaceutical standards, containing only the ingredients you need. That means fewer pills, higher compliance, and better outcomes.

    1. Smart Prescribing

If your risk profile warrants it, we may prescribe:

    • Lipid-lowering agents (e.g. statins or PCSK9 inhibitors)

    • Blood pressure medications

    • Insulin sensitising agents (e.g. metformin or GLP-1s in select cases)

    • Hormonal therapies (see our dedicated hormone optimisation pathway)

    • Sleep or cognitive support

    • Advanced therapeutics sometimes associated with life extension

Every prescription is weighed against risk, benefit, and long-term impact — with a philosophy of minimum effective intervention.

    2. Monitoring & Adjustment

Your programme is not static. We re-test key biomarkers regularly, adjust dosages where appropriate, and track your real-world response: both objectively (via bloods) and subjectively (via symptoms and performance). Your supplement formulation evolves with you.

    3. Avoiding Harm

    We carefully check for:

    • Over-supplementation (e.g. excess iron, vitamin A, calcium)

    • Negative interactions between drugs and nutrients

    • Unnecessary long-term use of medications that may blunt healthspan

We aim to deprescribe just as often as we prescribe.

    What We’re Aiming For

Medications and supplements should be used with the same care as surgery — only when the data and the context make the case clear. In our clinic, they are precision tools, not blunt instruments. We optimise what’s missing, support what’s struggling, and measure whether it’s working.

When used wisely, this is one of the most powerful ways to accelerate results and sustain health for decades to come.

  • Feel clearer, calmer, more resilient… anchored in purpose.

    Why It Matters

There’s no point extending your lifespan if you’re not fulfilled by the life you’re protecting.

How you feel mentally and emotionally shapes everything else; your sleep, your hormones, your immune system, your habits. It affects your energy, your clarity, and your ability to show up fully for the life you're building.

Yet this is the part most people ignore. They focus on the physical (exercise, diet, blood markers) but neglect the psychological foundations that allow those changes to stick.

At The Health Mapping Clinic, we treat emotional wellbeing as a critical pillar of long-term health. Not in vague terms of “mindfulness” or “self-care,” but as a set of skills that can be assessed, developed, and strengthened.

    What We Do

We help you build the mental and emotional foundations to support health, performance, and meaning in your life.

    Your programme may include:

    • Resilience & stress testing – Understanding how you respond to pressure, and helping you develop tools to stay steady in the face of challenge.

    • Purpose & direction work – Supporting you to clarify your values, goals, and long-term vision — so you can move forward with intention.

    • Mental fitness training – Improving focus, self-awareness, and emotional regulation so you can handle more, with less friction.

    • Psychological coaching – 1:1 sessions with experienced professionals to strengthen the mindset, routines, and decision-making that underpin lasting change.

    • Behavioural support – Helping you implement what you know, remove friction, and embed habits that align with the life you want to lead.

This is not therapy. It’s about equipping you with tools to navigate life’s complexities with more control, confidence, and clarity.

    What We’re Aiming For

To help you feel emotionally grounded, mentally sharp, and aligned with what matters most.

Not perfect. Not stress-free. But better equipped to handle life as it is — and shape it as you want it to be.

Because living longer only matters if you’re fully present, fulfilled, and able to enjoy the ride.

  • Cancer remains one of the greatest health challenges of our time. Statistically, 1 in 6 people will die from cancer, and more than 1 in 3 will be diagnosed during their lifetime. The single most important factor in determining the outcome? Whether the cancer has spread (metastasised) at the time of diagnosis.

Despite advances in treatment, the prognosis for metastatic cancer has remained largely unchanged over the past 50 years. That’s why our approach at The Health Mapping Clinic follows two guiding principles:

    1. Reduce your risk of developing cancer in the first place

    2. Maximise the chance of detecting it early — when intervention is most effective

    Why Early Detection Matters

Cancer develops slowly — often over years — giving us a valuable opportunity to intervene before it becomes dangerous.

Many cancers are linked to poor metabolic health. Conditions such as type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, and obesity are associated with a significantly higher cancer risk. That’s why our strategy begins with metabolic optimisation — long before any signs of disease are present.

The second step is proactive surveillance. We use advanced screening tools to identify any early signals of cancerous activity — before symptoms appear and before it has had a chance to spread.

    Our Screening Approach

Our cancer risk screening programme combines cutting-edge diagnostics:

    • Liquid Biopsy (MCED – Multi-Cancer Early Detection Test):

A highly sensitive blood test that detects trace fragments of tumour DNA circulating in the bloodstream — a potential sign of cancer long before it is clinically detectable.

    • Whole-Body MRI (Diffusion-Weighted Imaging):

A non-invasive scan that identifies small tumours and other abnormalities throughout the body. It also screens for additional longevity risks, including:

      • Microvascular changes in the brain (stroke risk)

      • Inflammatory or infectious processes

      • Musculoskeletal concerns

    • Additional tests, as indicated:

Based on your personal risk profile, we may recommend:

      • Early colonoscopy

      • Breast imaging

      • PSA blood tests

      • Genetic testing

These investigations not only provide a snapshot of your current health but serve as a valuable baseline for future comparisons. When repeated periodically, they help maintain confidence in your health status — or enable the earliest possible intervention.

    Is Screening Optional?

Yes. Cancer screening is offered but not mandatory. Around 20% of patients choose not to undergo these tests.

We will always have a detailed discussion with you to weigh the benefits, potential outcomes, and emotional considerations. Occasionally, screening results lead to additional investigation or short-term uncertainty. That’s part of the reality of proactive medicine — and our team will support you every step of the way.

    What If Something Is Found?

If a concern arises during screening:

    • You will be referred promptly to the appropriate NHS or private specialist.

    • If the liquid biopsy is positive, we combine this result with the Whole-Body MRI to locate the source.

    • If the biopsy is positive but the MRI shows no visible source, we will refer you to an oncologist experienced in ‘cancer of unknown origin’ for further guidance, monitoring, or investigation.

    Reducing Your Cancer Risk

We don’t just look for cancer — we help reduce the chances of developing it. The most powerful lever for prevention is metabolic health. We focus on:

    • Improving blood sugar and insulin sensitivity

    • Reducing visceral fat and harmful blood lipids (e.g. ApoB, triglycerides)

    • Lowering systemic inflammation

    • Supporting your immune surveillance pathways

This strategy is central to your longevity plan — and forms one of the most protective pillars of your long-term health.

  • Proactively protecting your most vital systems

Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCVD) — the umbrella term for heart attacks, strokes, and related conditions — is the leading cause of death in the Western world. And yet, with the medical tools available today, many of these events are preventable.

Most cardiovascular events strike without warning. People may carry early signs of heart or brain disease for years (often with no symptoms) until it's too late. Our goal is to intervene well before that point.

    Why We Assess Risk Early

At The Health Mapping Clinic, we take a proactive, precision-led approach. Rather than waiting for symptoms to appear, we use advanced diagnostics to assess your underlying cardiovascular and cerebrovascular risk, often decades before disease manifests.

Early detection allows us to change the trajectory of your health. Through lifestyle interventions, personalised supplementation, and (where appropriate) medication, we can reduce your long-term risk dramatically.

We evaluate your cardiovascular system across multiple domains:

    Genetic Risk

    • Lipoprotein(a)

    • Apolipoprotein E (ApoE)

    • Familial hypercholesterolaemia markers

    Blood Biomarkers

    • ApoB: the most accurate predictor of ASCVD

    • hsCRP, homocysteine, uric acid: inflammation and endothelial stress

    • NT-proBNP: a marker of cardiac strain and early heart failure risk

    Functional & Imaging Assessments

    • VO₂ Max Testing and Resting ECG for cardiorespiratory performance

    • CT Coronary Angiography (CTA): the gold standard for detecting plaque in the arteries

    • CaRi Heart AI Analysis: evaluation of pericoronary inflammation and fat distribution — identifying hidden risk beyond traditional scans

These assessments help us detect and address:

    • Bloods vessel disease: Atherosclerosis and early arterial plaque

    • High blood pressure-related cardiac damage

    • Heart rhythm issues and/or electrical instability

    • Poor fitness or unexplained fatigue

    • Early signs of heart failure

    Brain Health & Stroke Risk

We combine structural imaging with cognitive performance assessments to evaluate brain health and risk of neurological disease:

    Cognitive Testing

    • WAIS-IV (Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale) for baseline brain function

    Advanced Brain Imaging

    • Three-part MRI

      • Structural MRI

      • Diffusion-Weighted Imaging (DWI)

      • Susceptibility-Weighted Imaging (SWI/FLAIR)

    • MRA (Magnetic Resonance Angiography)

      • To assess blood flow and vessel integrity in the brain and neck

    • Neuroinflammation panel (optional)

      • Investigating immune activation in the central nervous system

These tools provide early detection of:

    • Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias

    • Small vessel disease and stroke risk

    • Autoimmune or inflammatory brain changes

    • Vascular anomalies (aneurysms, stenosis, or malformations)

What Happens If We Detect Risk?

If concerns are identified, we act swiftly and holistically:

    • Lifestyle interventions: prioritising personalised improvements in nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management

    • Targeted supplementation: using high-grade, third-party tested formulas, personalised and compounded into a single daily tablet where possible

    • Medical therapy: initiating pharmaceutical treatment when clinically appropriate

    • Specialist referral: when needed, we coordinate rapid access to trusted cardiologists, neurologists, or other relevant experts

We also provide continuous monitoring, with repeat biomarker testing, cognitive re-assessments, and follow-up imaging to confirm progress and adapt your plan as needed.

    Our Focus: Prevention Through Precision

What sets our approach apart is not just the level of testing, it's how we act on it.

By combining rigorous diagnostics with sustained behavioural change, high-touch coaching, and expert clinical oversight, we help you reduce the risk of sudden cardiovascular or neurological events. Instead of guessing, we measure. Instead of reacting, we lead.

This is cardiovascular and brain health — redefined.

  • Supporting your body’s control system — for energy, mood, resilience, and longevity

Your hormones act as the body’s control signals. They influence everything from how well you sleep, to your energy, your weight, your ability to recover, your mood, and your long-term health.

But hormonal changes often happen gradually and silently — especially as we age. Left unchecked, even mild imbalances can make it harder to feel your best or stay on track with your health goals.

At The Health Mapping Clinic, we take a personalised, data-led approach to hormone optimisation. We don’t rely on guesswork. We use comprehensive testing to understand how your hormones are functioning and what they might be silently influencing.

    Why it matters

Hormones play a role in nearly every aspect of health:

    • Energy & metabolism: Whether you feel sluggish or energised.

    • Weight & body composition: How easily you lose fat or build muscle.

    • Sleep & recovery: How well you bounce back from stress or training.

    • Mood & cognition: How focused, motivated and emotionally balanced you feel.

    • Longevity & disease risk: Hormonal imbalance is linked to conditions like osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, and cognitive decline.

    What we do

We begin by reviewing the comprehensive hormone data gathered during your Orientation Phase, including:

    • Thyroid function – key for metabolism, weight, temperature regulation, and clarity

    • Sex hormones – testosterone, oestradiol, progesterone, DHEA

    • Stress hormones – cortisol patterns and adrenal function

    • Metabolic signals – insulin, IGF-1, leptin, adiponectin

Our aim is not simply to “normalise” these numbers, but to calibrate them for optimal function based on your individual profile, symptoms, and goals.

    Women’s Health

Hormonal balance is central to women’s wellbeing — across every life stage. Whether you’re managing your cycle, aiming to conceive, or approaching menopause, we support you with evidence-based care and personalised guidance.

Key areas we focus on include:

    • Cycle-related symptoms – such as fatigue, low mood, irregular cycles, poor sleep, or brain fog

    • Fertility optimisation – helping you understand what may be standing in the way of conceiving. Often, the most powerful lever to improve fertility is optimising your overall health — from nutrition and insulin sensitivity to body composition, stress response, and sleep quality

    • Perimenopause and menopause support – addressing changes in mood, sleep, libido, or energy, and preserving long-term health through proactive hormone care

    • Protection of long-term vitality – including strategies for brain health, cardiovascular resilience, and bone density

We take a collaborative approach, using a mix of behavioural strategies, nutritional interventions, and medical options when appropriate — including hormone replacement therapy when indicated.

    How we help

Our approach is precise, proactive, and deeply personalised. Depending on your needs, this may include:

    • Lifestyle and nutritional interventions to naturally support hormone balance

    • Targeted supplementation guided by your bloodwork — to improve energy, stress resilience, thyroid function, or hormone signalling

    • Smart prescribing — when required, we use carefully calibrated medical therapy, including hormone replacement, with an emphasis on safety and long-term benefit

    • Continuous monitoring — through regular symptom review, health coaching, and repeat testing to ensure your plan continues working as your body evolves

This isn’t about temporary fixes. It’s about restoring balance, building resilience, and giving your body the best internal environment to perform — now and in the decades to come.

  • Sharper thinking. Greater focus. Long-term brain resilience.

Your brain is your most valuable asset. From decision-making and creativity to emotional regulation and memory, cognitive performance determines how well you show up in your work, your relationships, and your life.

At The Health Mapping Clinic, we take a proactive, structured approach to enhancing your brain function today, while reducing your risk of decline in the future.

This isn’t just about avoiding dementia. It’s about building a brain that performs at its best — clear, focused, and resilient — for as long as possible.

    Why cognitive health matters

Even in your 30s and 40s, subtle declines in attention, processing speed, or memory can appear. These are often dismissed as “just getting older” but in many cases, they’re preventable, and reversible.

Cognitive decline doesn’t begin when symptoms do. It often starts decades earlier: slowly, quietly, and progressively. The sooner you identify and address the risks, the more you can protect and enhance your brain's function over the long term.

    What we do

We start by understanding your brain’s current performance and where we can make improvements. This includes:

    • Cognitive testing – using standardised assessments (e.g. WAIS) to map your memory, focus, and mental agility

    • Brain imaging – a high-resolution three-part MRI (structural, DWI, SWI/FLAIR) to detect small vessel disease, brain atrophy, or signs of inflammation

    • MRA (Magnetic Resonance Angiography) – to assess blood flow and identify any narrowing, aneurysms, or vascular malformations

    • Metabolic & inflammatory markers – poor blood sugar control, insulin resistance, and systemic inflammation all accelerate cognitive ageing

    • Sleep, stress, and lifestyle review – all key drivers of brain health, often overlooked

    How we help

Our goal is twofold: improve how your brain works today, and preserve its function long into the future.

Depending on your needs, your plan may include:

    • Nutritional strategies to support neuroplasticity, blood flow, and neurotransmitter balance

    • Cognitive training – tailored exercises to strengthen memory, focus, and processing speed

    • Stress & sleep optimisation – to improve mental clarity and support cognitive recovery

    • Exercise programming – especially cardiovascular training, shown to improve executive function and memory

    • Targeted supplementation – where appropriate, we use evidence-based supplements that support brain function and reduce inflammation

    • Medical interventions – where risk is identified, we use a range of safe, well-studied therapies to reduce vascular and metabolic contributors to cognitive decline

You’ll also have access to ongoing coaching to help you build the habits that support focus, energy, and long-term mental performance, even in high-pressure or high-responsibility environments.

    Who it’s for

Cognitive enhancement isn’t just for people worried about dementia. It’s for high performers who want to think more clearly, recall more easily, and stay sharp for decades to come.

Whether you’re a company founder, a parent juggling a demanding life, or someone starting to notice small changes in memory or focus — this is about future proofing your most valuable asset.

  • Your body is constantly working to clear waste and toxins—but modern life can overwhelm the system.

From air pollution and microplastics to pesticides and heavy metals, we are all exposed to a growing number of environmental toxins. These substances can quietly accumulate in the body, placing strain on your liver, kidneys, and gut, and interfering with energy levels, hormones, immunity, and brain function.

At The Health Mapping Clinic, we take detox seriously—not with fads or juice cleanses, but with a measured, evidence-informed approach. The goal is to reduce the toxic load where possible, support your natural detox systems, and track progress over time.

    Why it matters

Your ability to clear toxins is essential for long-term health and daily performance. When your detox systems are under strain, you may experience:

    • Low energy and fatigue

    • Brain fog or difficulty concentrating

    • Hormonal imbalances

    • Skin issues or digestive discomfort

    • Poor tolerance to alcohol, perfumes, or medications

These symptoms are often dismissed, but they can be signs that your body’s filtration and elimination systems are overloaded.

    What we do

    1. Identify your unique exposures

We begin with a detailed lifestyle and occupational history to uncover likely sources of toxin exposure—such as metals, mould, solvents, or pollutants. When appropriate, we carry out targeted testing for:

    • Heavy metals (e.g. lead, mercury, cadmium)

    • Environmental toxins (e.g. glyphosate, plastics)

    • Liver function & methylation status

    2. Support your natural detox systems

Your body has built-in pathways to eliminate toxins—mainly via the liver, kidneys, gut, lungs, and skin. We help support these systems through:

    • Nutritional strategies to fuel detox pathways

    • Improving gut health and bowel regularity

    • Hydration and sleep optimisation

    • Personalised supplements if deficiencies are detected (e.g. B vitamins, glutathione precursors)

    3. Reduce your exposure

We’ll help you identify hidden sources of toxins in your home, workplace, and habits, and offer practical guidance on reducing them—without disrupting your life.

    4. Reassess and refine

Our programme includes regular re-testing where needed to ensure that interventions are working. We track key biomarkers, energy levels, sleep, and cognitive clarity to ensure you're moving in the right direction.

    The outcome

You’ll feel lighter, clearer, and more energised. By giving your body a cleaner internal environment to operate in, every other system—your brain, hormones, metabolism, and immune function—can begin to function at a higher level.

  • Stay well. Bounce back faster. Protect your future.

    Why It Matters

Your immune system isn’t just your defence against coughs, colds, or seasonal bugs. It’s your body’s long-term surveillance system. It constantly scans for threats like cancer, viruses, and cellular damage.

When it's working well, you recover quickly, stay energised, and age more slowly. But when it’s off balance — whether underactive, overactive, or chronically inflamed — you may experience frequent illness, lingering fatigue, poor recovery, or increased long-term disease risk.

Modern life puts constant strain on our immune systems: stress, poor sleep, processed food, overtraining, under-recovering. Add genetics and ageing to the mix, and you’ve got a system that needs support.

At The Health Mapping Clinic, we treat immune resilience as a pillar of longevity, because when your immune system is in balance, everything else works better.

    What We Do

We take a proactive approach to immune health, addressing issues long before symptoms appear.

    Your programme may include:

    • Early detection of imbalances

We assess for chronic low-grade inflammation, sluggish immune responses, and other subtle dysfunctions using biomarkers such as hsCRP, white blood cell trends, and nutrient status.

    • Root cause analysis

We explore how factors like micronutrient deficiencies, gut health, chronic stress, sleep quality, or unresolved infections may be contributing to immune dysregulation.

    • Targeted support

Based on your personalised data, we design a nutrition and supplement strategy that supports immune balance, not just stimulation. This may include vitamins, minerals, or gut-supportive protocols where appropriate.

    • Behavioural & environmental coaching

We help you implement daily practices that strengthen your immune system over time — including movement, recovery, and sleep rhythms that allow the immune system to recharge.

    • Advanced screening (where needed)

For patients with suspected autoimmune tendencies or immune overactivation, we offer deeper investigation and can coordinate referrals for specialist care if required.

    What We’re Aiming For

To build a more robust, balanced, and intelligent immune system. One that protects you quietly in the background, so you can live with energy, resilience, and confidence.

You’ll feel stronger, recover faster, and reduce the inflammation that silently contributes to ageing and disease.

Because health isn’t just about not getting sick. It’s about building a body that knows how to protect itself… now and for years to come.

  • Feel sharper, faster, and more capable… in every domain that matters.

    Why It Matters

Peak performance isn’t about working longer hours or chasing perfection. It’s about unlocking your full capacity so you can show up with energy, focus, and clarity, whether you’re leading a team, raising a family, or simply trying to get more out of each day.

Modern life puts a strain on performance: interrupted sleep, decision fatigue, inconsistent energy, emotional friction, or stress that blunts your edge. Many people operate at 60–70% of their potential without realising it.

At The Health Mapping Clinic, we help you reclaim that lost capacity. We take the guesswork out and show you exactly which systems are holding you back and how to fix them.

Because when your mind and body work in sync, performance becomes effortless.

    What We Do

We look at how your biology, environment, and habits are helping or hindering your performance. We then create a strategy to raise your baseline and expand your capacity.

    This may include:

    • Sharper thinking - We address the physical and psychological factors that impact your clarity, focus, and decision-making, from blood sugar stability and sleep quality to stress hormones and mental overload.

    • Stronger energy systems - We help you improve physical stamina and daily energy output through smarter nutrition, training, and recovery rhythms — grounded in your metabolic and cardiovascular data.

    • Greater resilience under pressure - We equip you with tools and strategies to stay calm, clear, and effective even in high-stakes situations, without sacrificing wellbeing or burning out.

    • Recovery that drives performance - We focus on how you recharge between efforts. You'll improve your sleep architecture, parasympathetic tone, and recovery habits so that you come back stronger, not just rested.

    • Psychological conditioning - Working with your health coach, you’ll build the structure, routines, and mindset to deliver consistently with discipline, autonomy, and purpose.

You'll have test that add clarity, such as cognitive assessments, HRV and sleep tracking, and performance biomarkers, and we'll track your progress over time to ensure real-world outcomes.

    What We’re Aiming For

To raise your baseline and redefine what your “best” looks like; mentally, physically, and emotionally.

This isn’t about squeezing more into your day. It’s about getting more from yourself with less friction and more flow.

Whether you’re performing in the boardroom, on the field, or in everyday life, we help you move from surviving to excelling with energy, clarity, and calm under pressure.
